A Single Thread




In this tutorial I used the tube “Lovely Teddy” from
Verymany.
She can purchased at
Verymany’s store.

The kit is “By a Thread” 
and can purchased at
Deedles n Doodles store.

You will need mask frame 1 from
Kopona.

Font of choice.




I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 65, blur 10.


Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Paste the mask, resize 20%, select all, float and defloat the mask, make a new layer, paste paper 20 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer. Close all layers apart from these three, merge visible and reopen the closed layers.

Paste spray 4, resize 75% and move into place.

Paste element 1, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  We will come back to this.

Paste element 13,  resize 35% and move into place.  Select the interior of the element with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and paste paper 20 into the selection,  paste the tube, resize 75% and position in the element, invert the selection, hit delete and deselect.  Change the blend mode on the tube to “Overlay” and apply the drop shadow to the element.

Paste the tube again, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 61 above the clock, duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste word art 3, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 87, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8, resize 60% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32, resize 60% and position on the right, duplicate, resize the copy another 80% and position on the left below the merged layer and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 54 above the merged layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 99, resize 50% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 97, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26, resize 30% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 65 resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow. 

Paste element 64, resize 30% and mirror, position below the two rose elements and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 88, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 16 above the roses, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 48 on the top, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 73, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 93, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.  Go back to the mask, select all, float and deloat it, invert the selection and hit delete on the clock element, deselect.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.

In this tutorial I used the tube “Alex” from Alex Prihodko . You can purchase the tube at Verymany’s store . I used the kit “Between Friends”. This pretty mini kit is available at Deedles n Doodles store. You will need mask 29 from Moonbeams and Spiderwebs . Font of choice. I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 55, blur 10. Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 700 pixels and fill with white. Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 11 into the sselection, deselect and apply the mask. Paste element 50, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow. This beautiful kit can be purchased at Deedles n Doodles store . You will need mask 2 by Fran . Font of choice. I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 55, blur 15. Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 800 pixels and fill with white. Paste the mask and resize it 35%.   Select all, float and defloat, make a new layer, paste paper 14 into the selection, deselect and delete the original black mask layer.   Move this layer up, we will duplicate it at the end of the tutorial and position the copy so a little shows at the bottom.
