Turn the Page



In this tutorial I used the tube “Luciana” from
Verymany.
You can purchase the tube at
Verymany’s store.

The kit is “Turn the Page”.
This is a gorgeous kit and can be purchased at
Deedles n Doodles store.

You will need my mask
0008.

Font of choice.




I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5 opacity 75, blur 10.


Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 700 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 9 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize it 85%.

Paste spray 2, resize 75% and move into place.

Paste the main tube, resize 32%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 64, resize 30%, place in position below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 47, resize 30%, position below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 59, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 71, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 49, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 42, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste element 1, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 40%, position behind the tube, duplicate, bring the copy to the top, duplicate it again, close off one copy for now, mirror the other copy and position on the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 57, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 86, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 88, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14, resized 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste word art 1, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open the closed copy of element 9, bring it to the top, flip it, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 58, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 95, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5, resize 8% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 110b, resize 23%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments.  

Paste the close up tube just above the mask, resize 55% and change the blend mode to “Hard Light”, activate the mask layer, select all, float and defloat the mask, invert the selection, position the tube in the selection then hit delete and deselect.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.

This pretty mini kit is available at Deedles n Doodles store. You will need mask 29 from Moonbeams and Spiderwebs . Font of choice.
