Queen of Darkness




In this tutorial I used the fabulous tube “Princess of Darkness” from
Verymany.
You can purchase the tube at

You will need my mask
0048.

Font of choice.




I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.



Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 800 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 8 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask, resize it 90% and mirror, duplicate, change the blend mode on the top copy to “Hard Light”, close off the white background, merge visible and re-open the background.

Pate element 37, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 59b, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 65, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 77, resize 22%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste the tube, resize 28%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 73, resize 50%, position behind the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 35, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 56, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 53, resize 55%, duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 34, resize 40%, position on the left, duplicate, mirror the copy and resize it another 90%, position on the right and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste spray 10 and position behind the tube.

Paste spray 12 and move into place.

Paste element 14, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 18, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 36 on the top, resize 50% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 35b, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 68, resize 60% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28b, resize 35% and duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 33, resize 25%, duplicate, mirror one copy and position it behind element 28b on the left, position the second copy on the log and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 66, resize 35%, position on the left above element 33, duplicate, mirror the copy and resize it another 90%, position on the top and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 3 on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4b, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4a, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22, resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 55, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste spray 4, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 24b, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 42b, resize 17% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25b, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 79, resize 22%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 34b, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5b, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 62, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 31, resize 25%, position just in front of the dolls head, duplicate, mirror the copy and position in front of the rate, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 26, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 43, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.

This pretty mini kit is available at Deedles n Doodles store. You will need mask 29 from Moonbeams and Spiderwebs . Font of choice.
