Baubles and Beads

In this tutorial I used the layered tube “Baubles and Beads”

from the latest pack 96 by

Barbara Jensen.

This is the second tutorial I have written with this beautiful kit!

You will need my  mask

0038.

Font of choice.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 55, blur 10.

Open a  new transparent canvas 700 by 750 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 10 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask, resize it 85% and move it over to the left,

Paste spray 2, resize 90% and move into place.

Paste the tube, resize 55% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 3 and resize 33%.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below the frame, paste paper 6 into the selection and deselect, apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and position behind the tube.

Paste element 28, resize 35%, position behind the merged frame and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 29, resize 40% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 64, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 23, resize 20%, duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 16, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 67, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 71, resize 15% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11a, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 60 on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33a, resize 66%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste word art 3, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 57, resize 25%, place in position below the word art and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39 on the top, resize 25% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32, resize 17%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 93, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check  your layers now and make any adjustments.

Paste element 36, resize 50% and mirror, apply the drop shadow, position above the ribbon erasing the part that goes across the tube.

Pate element 45, resize 12%, duplicate a couple of times, mirror one copy, position around and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 7 on the top, resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
