Saturnalia

In this tutorial I used the awesome art of

Enys Guerrero.

This tube is called “Mad Queen Alice” and can be purchased at

I used two masks, mask 01 from

Melissaz Creationz

and mask 0120 from Simone at

Scrappy Bit of Fun.

I used the font

Kingthings Spike.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 12 into the selection and apply Melissaz’ mask, resize 95%.

Make another layer and paste paper 13 into the selection, apply Simone’s mask, deselect and resize 95%

Paste element 71 as a new layer, resize 40% and rotate 20 degrees to the left.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 5 and make a new layer below it, paste paper 13 into the selection and deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it down onto the paper and move over to the left.

Paste element 25 as a new layer, resize 60% and repeat what you did with the first frame.

Paste your tube as new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 75%.

Paste element 58 as a new layer, resize 60%, drag below the two merged layers and position at the top on the right, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position on the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 28 as a new layer, resize 35% and rotate 50 degrees to the right, position at the bottom on the right, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position at the top on the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 8 as a new layer, resize 55% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, position at the top on the right, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and position on the left, apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste element 13 as a new layer and drag above the merged layers, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 4 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 27 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 35 as a new layer, resize 70% and rotate 30 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 39 as a new layer, resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 41 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 33 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 60%, position on the right and apply the drop shadow.

Pate element 34 as a new layer, resize 70% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 36 as a new layer, resize 80% and rotate 90 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 12 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 48 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9 as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26 as a new layer, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10 as a new layer resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 22 as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste element 61 as a new layer, resize 70%, drag below the mask and position along the bottom, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate, drag it right down to just above the masks and position at the top.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
